ITINERARY

Day 1:  ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Arrival in Hanoi, meet your guide and transfer for hotel check in if room available (Check in time: 14:00)

Free time for relaxation.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2:  HANOI CITY TOUR (B)

8:30am After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel, enjoy city tour of Hanoi.

Have a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, visit HCM Mausoleum (close on Monday & Friday, October - November), HCM’s stilt house and garden, the One Pillar pagoda. Take another pleasant walk at the beautiful Temple of Literature.

For lunch (not included), your guide will take you to enjoy a very famous specialty street food in Hanoi like "bun cha", a rice noodle dish served with grilled pork and spring rolls which Mr. President Obama enjoyed very much when he visited Hanoi.

Continue to visit the Museum of Women and Dong Xuan market. Take a fascinating trishaw ride through the hustle and bustle of the old quarter. Then enjoy walking in the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3:  HANOI - NINH BINH - TAM COC - BICH  DONG  IN THE RED RIVER DELTA (B)

Morning check out and transfer from Hanoi to Ninh Binh which is so called as Halong Bay on land in the Red River Delta.

Enjoy a lovely boat ride through the 3 caves and mountains in Tam Coc.

Visit the beautiful cave pagoda of Bich Dong

Transfer to check in a hotel

Overnight in Ninh Binh

Day 4:  NINH BINH - NAM DINH - TRADITIONAL VILLAGES IN THE RED RIVER DELTA (B-L-D)

Morning check out and transfer from Ninh Binh to Nam Dinh to go deep in the Red River Delta.

Visit the Hong Quang village which is famous for making wooden water puppets. The guests will be shown how to make water puppets and watch a mini show of water puppets.

Visit the old Bui Chu Catholic Cathedral and orphanage.

Continue to drive to Eco Host in Hai Hau district.

Check in this lovely home stay and enjoy a nice lunch with local foods.

After lunch, enjoy a nice bike tour or a tour by car to visit villages of making wooden furniture, trumpet, the covered bridge, the Pham Phao village church. You will discover how hard-working, hospitable and friendly the local people in the Red River Delta are.

Back to the Eco Host and enjoy foot bath in warm herbal water.

You will learn how to make a local dish and enjoy dinner at the host with local foods.

Overnight in Nam Dinh

Day 5:  NAM DINH – QUIET AREA IN HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

8:00: transfer to Halong

12:00 Upon arrival, check in a sharing junk and start cruising in a quiet area of Bai Tu Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy fabulous seafood, stunning sceneries, and water activities (If weather permitting)  swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Overnight aboard

Day 6:  HALONG  – HANOI (B/L)

Morning continue to enjoy the cruise, visit a cave. Have brunch on the boat.

Check out the cruise, disembark and transfer back to Hanoi by car.

Day 7:  HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to the airport with your guide and driver to take a flight home
