This tour covers a good part of the Mekong Delta which is typically famous for coconut and tropical fruits. You will experience interesting activities and explore how local people live in the Mekong delta.  

Itinerary: 

Day 1: HCMC – BEN TRE – VINH LONG – HOME STAY  (Lunch- Dinner)

8:00 Meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to Ben Tre, the land of coconuts.

10:00 Arrival at Phong Nam boat station, get on a boat and cruising on the Chet Say canal. Visit many interesting workshops of making bricks, coconut products, coconut coal.

11:30 Enjoy a lovely sampan row through Huu Phuoc Canal to Giong Trom. Taste local tropical fruits. Walk to visit a family workshop of making rice noodle “hu tieu”, typical product and noodle soup in the Mekong delta.

Then enjoy a fantastic tuk tuk ride around the greenery countryside of Ben Tre.

13:00 Have a nice lunch at a local restaurant with local specialties.

14:00 Cruise back to Ben Tre by boat.

14:30 Transfer by car to Vinh Long 

16:30 Arrival in Vinh Long, visit the market. Then get on a boat to go to Ut Trinh home stay.

17:30 Check in the home stay and relax

Enjoy a cooking lesson with the host and enjoy the dinner with what you have cooked. 

Day 2: CAI BE – CAI THIA – HCMC (B - Lunch)

Wake up with the countryside sounds. Enjoy breakfast at the home stay.

8:00 Check out, bring your luggage to the boat. Then take a walk along villages and fruit gardens to Luc Cu canal where you will enjoy a nice sampan row along the quiet canals.

9:00 Get back on the boat to visit Cai Be floating market and many workshops of making pop rice, pop corn, coconut candies, rice papers, soya sauce, fish sauce, etc.

12:00 get back on the boat and cruise on Cau Xeo River to Cai Thia. Enjoy a nice lunch on the boat.

13:00 Arrival in Cai Thia, get on the bike and cycling along the villages, fruit gardens, visit 2 family workshops of making typical cakes. This bike ride is about 1 hour and very interesting.

15:00 get back to the boat station in Cai Thia and transfer back to HCMC

17:30 Drop-off at your hotel
