Day 1: Yangon  
Arrival in Rangoon, Airport pick-up, hotel check-in
Afternoon city tour: Drive through colonial buildings, China town, Indian quarter , stop at Kandawgyi Park for taking photos, visit Shwedagon pagoda and admire the sunset from there.
 

Day 2: Yangon-Bago-Golden Rock (B)
Early morning, drive out of Yangon to the ancient capital of Bago (Pegu), visit Kyaikpun Pagoda, the local market and then go to see Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Bago's golden landmark.

Then drive through seemingly endless paddy fields to the small town of Kyaikto and on to the 'base camp' of Kinpun, where you will take a truck up a bumpy track about half way up the mountain. From here, walk up the path which climbs steeply to the legendary 'Golden Rock'. The climb offers magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to make friends with the many local
people who make the pilgrimage to Kyaiktiyo.

 

Day 3: Golden Rock-Mawlamyine (B)
Early risers may enjoy returning to the Goldne Rock, about 20 minutes walk from the hotel, to watch the sunrise.

After breakfast, walk down the mountain and return by truck to your car/minibus. Drive south towards Mawlamyine through seeming endless rice fields. 

In the afternoon, visit the Sa Dan Cave. Drive to Mawlamyine with many photo stops at some interesting old colonial-style houses, a mosque and churches.

Visit also Kyaiktanlan Pagoda the tallest in the city and the nearby view point to enjoy beautiful sunset views over the harbour and out across the River.

Day 4: Mawlamyine-Yangon (B)
Early breakfast. Return to Yangon by road.

On the way stop in Thaton which was once the center of a Mon kingdom that may have stretched as far east as Cambodia. You will visit Shwezayan pagoda home to a famous standing Buddha stele in the classic Mon style with interesting stone carvings dating back to the 10 th Century. Packed lunch or lunch at a local restaurant is included.

 

Day 5: Rangoon – Bagan (B)
Morning flight to Bagan , City tour by bus right after arrival: visit Nyaung U market, Shwezigon pagoda, Htilominlo temple, Ananda temple, Thabyinya temple. 
Afternoon take horse-cart excursion for half day to the lacquer ware factory, follow sand paths through villages, groups of stupas, the countryside, stop at Minanthu village and Shwe San Daw temple for sunset.

Day 6: Bagan – Mandalay (By Flight)-Amarapura-Mandalay (by car)
Transfer to Bagan Airport, take a flight to Mandalay.

Upon arrival at Mandalay Airport proceed directly to Amarapura. Visit Mahagandayon, a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study.

The sightseeing starts with a visit to the ancient city of Amarapura and to nearby U Bein Bridgeof teak wood, visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, home to Mandalay’s holiest Buddha statue, stops to see stone carving and gold leaf being beaten into wafer thin pieces.
Afternoon continues to visit Shwenandaw Monastery, an ancient wooden building with intricate carvings. Continue to see the ‘world’s largest book’, being the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs, at Kuthodaw Pagoda. Enjoy spectacular views at sunset from Mandalay Hill, where there are interesting glass-studded temples.

 

Day 7: Mandalay-Heho (by Flight)-Pindaya-Kalaw (by coach) (B)
Transfer to Mandalay Airport to fly to Heho. Transfer from Heho airport to Pindaya, an interesting drive up into the hills and across the Shan Plateau, through fields of mountain rice. Visit magnificent Pindaya Caves. After lunch, visit family factories of Shan paper and parasols. Then enjoy scenic drive to Kalaw, a former British hill station town, with spring-like weather and pine forests.

 

Day 8: Kalaw - Inle Lake (by car/boat) (B-L-D)
From Kalaw, drive down into the valley to Nyaung Shwe on the edge of Inle Lake and board your own local boat to take you to your hotel on the lake.

enjoy a boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer’s dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, see the lake’s unique “leg rowers”.

After lunch continues to visit by boat Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its “jumping cats”. Stop to see silk weaving on wooden handlooms, cigar making place, a blacksmith shop and other places as time allows.

 

Day 9: Inle Lake excursion (by boat) (B-L-D)
This day is cruising to an interesting market of that day. After Lunch, we enjoy another boat tour to Indaing, at the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their produce. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Lake Inle.

 

Day 10: Inle Lake-Heho-Yangon (by flight) (B)
Check-out, then transfer by boat and drive down to Heho Airport to fly to Yangon. Arrival at Yangon Airport and then transfer to your hotel check in.

Afternoon, explore the city by local train about three or four station around 1 hour. Visit Yangon’s unique Glass Factory, continue to Bogyoke (Scott) Market to see Myanmar’s wide range of handicrafts. Later, take a walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area

 

Day 11: Yangon-Ngapali Beach (B)
Transfer from Hotel to Yangon Airport. Air Mandalay, Yangon airways or Air Bagan airways flight from Yangon to Thandwe. Arrival to Thandwe and transfer to your hotel on Ngapali Beach. Free time for relaxation 

Accommodation at hotel, Ngapali Beach.

 

Day 12: Ngapali Beach (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Accommodation at hotel, Ngapali Beach.

 

Day 13: Ngapali Beach-Yangon (B)
Breakfast. Day at leisure until transfer from hotel to Thandwe Airport. Air Mandalay, Yangon airways or Air Bagan airways flight from Thandwe to Yangon.

Arrival to Yangon airport and transfer to hotel, free time.

 

Day 14: Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for flight home.
