Day 1: Yangon
Arrival in Rangoon, Airport pick-up, hotel check-in
Afternoon city tour: Drive through colonial buildings, China town, Indian quarter , stop at Kandawgyi Park for taking photos, visit Shwedagon pagoda and admire the sunset from there.
Day 2: Yangon-Bago-Golden Rock (B)
Early morning, drive out of Yangon to the ancient capital of Bago (Pegu), visit Kyaikpun Pagoda, the local market and then go to see Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Bago's golden landmark.
Then drive through seemingly endless paddy fields to the small town of Kyaikto and on to the 'base camp' of Kinpun, where you will take a truck up a bumpy track about half way up the mountain. From here, walk up the path which climbs steeply to the legendary 'Golden Rock'. The climb offers magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to make friends with the many local people who make the pilgrimage to Kyaiktiyo.
Day 3: Golden Rock-Yangon (B)
Return to Yangon via Bago.
Continue with sightseeing in Bago including the 55-metre-long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha image, one of the country's most revered objects.
Visit the Maha Klyani Sima ordination all and Mahazedi ("Great Stupa") offering panoramic views.
Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to your hotel.
Day 4: Rangoon – Bagan (B)
Morning flight to Bagan, City tour by car right after arrival: visit Nyaung U market, Shwezigon pagoda, Htilominlo temple, Ananda temple, Thabyinya temple.
Afternoon take horse-cart excursion for half day to the lacquer ware factory, follow sand paths through villages, groups of stupas, the countryside, stop at Minanthu village and Shwe San Daw temple for sunset.
Back to the hotel
Day 5: Bagan - Inle Lake (by car/boat) (B-L-D)
Flight to Heho, then drive down into the valley to Nyaung Shwe on the edge of Inle Lake and board your own local boat to take you to your hotel on the lake.
Enjoy a boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer’s dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, see the lake’s unique “leg rowers”.
After lunch continues to visit by boat Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famous for its “jumping cats”. Stop to see silk weaving on wooden handlooms, cigar making place, a blacksmith shop and other places as time allows.
Day 6: Inle Lake excursion (by boat) (B-L-D)
This day is cruising to an interesting market of that day. After Lunch, we enjoy another boat tour to Indaing, at the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their products. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Inle Lake.
Day 7: Inle Lake-Heho-Yangon (by flight) (B)
Check-out, then transfer by boat and drive down to Heho Airport to fly to Yangon.
Arrival at Yangon Airport and then transfer to your hotel check in.
After lunch, explore the city by local train about three or four station around 1 hour. Visit Yangon’s unique Glass Factory, continue to Bogyoke (Scott) Market to see Myanmar’s wide range of handicrafts.
Later, take a walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area
Day 8: Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for flight home.
