Day 1: ARRIVAL HCMC - CU CHI TUNNEL - CITY TOUR (L-D)

Upon arrival at HCMC airport, meet a guide and transfer to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. Explore the underground city and learn about the Vietnamese people and their history.

Have lunch at a local restaurant in Cu Chi

Transfer back to HCMC, visit the Notre Dam Cathedral and old post office, 2 remained colonial buildings.

Visit the War Museum

Day 2: HCMC – BEN TRE - BOAT TOUR - BIKE TOUR - WORKSHOP VISITS -  COOKING LESSON - HOME STAY (B-L-D)

7:30 Morning transfer to Ben Tre, the land of coconuts.

10:00 Pick up at Phong Nam Pier. Biking on shady paths and rice field in Phong Nam village (30 minutes). 10:30 Stop on land, visit Năm Khiêm handy brick kiln, charcoal workshop – make products from coconut shell as active charcoal, material for battery and coconut processing workshop nearby.

11:30 Take a boat along An Hóa  and Bến Tre river then turn on water palm scissors canals where they look smaller and smaller to Nhơn Thạnh countryside.

11:50 Stop at coconut candy mill on the way. Students can practice to wrap the candies like the locals. Then enjoy candies and fruits in farmer house.

12:15 Continue by boat to the pier where students will ride their bikes to have lunch at a local restaurant

13:30  Ride bike to visit a family making sleep mats. Students can practice weaving the mats.

14:30 Continue by bike to the farmer house. Check-in home stay. Relax. Riding to Mr Sau Khanh ‘s house to see ancient ceramic set. Cooking with Host in home stay. Have dinner.

Day 3: HOME STAY - FISHING - GARDENING - SEEING FIREFLIES - HOME STAY (B-L-D)

8:00 - 12:00 After breakfast at the home stay, enjoy a working day as local Mekong delta farmers.

Get into a fish pond to get wet and muddy, emptying the water in the pond to catch fish.

Learn to prepare and grill the fish in mud like local people

Finally wash yourselves, change clothes and enjoy a nice lunch with fresh grilled fish.

After lunch, have some rest on the hammocks.

15:00 - 17:00 Continue with gardening activities: plant vegetables, learn how to cultivate fruit trees, learn how to harvest the fruits (depending on season)

Have a rest and dinner at the home stay.

Prepare boat and cruise onto canal to see firefly on mangrove tree – a kind of insect, normally sparkling in dark night. Go back and overnight in home stay

Day 4: BEN TRE - CAI THIA - BOAT TOUR - BIKE TOUR - WORKSHOP VISITS -  COOKING LESSON - HOME STAY (B-L-D)

8:00 Check out the home stay, saying goodbye to the hosts.

Take sampan rowing and big boat back to Ben Tre city.

8:45 Transfer to Cai Thia

10:00 Get on the boat and cruise across the mighty river to visit a local home where students will learn how to make rice paper, a very popular product.

11:00 Continue by bike along shady roads through villages and bridges to visit another family of making "banh tieu", a nice sweet cake. Students will learn how to make this cake and enjoy it.

12:00 Bike back to the boat. Then cruise to a garden house for lunch.

13:00 Have lunch with local specialties.

14:00 Cruise to Tan Phong island where students will enjoy another bike tour to visit different workshops. They will learn to weave hammocks made of coconut ropes, roofs of water coconut leaves, handicrafts of water hyacinth.

16:30 Back to the boat and cruise to Ba Nam canal where you will take a nice sampan rowing through small canals and fruit gardens.

17:00 back to the big boat and transfer to check in a home stay and have some rest

18:30 Enjoy some cooking lesson

19:00 Enjoy dinner at the home stay

Day 5: HOME STAY - BOAT TOUR - WORKSHOPS - CAN THO (B-L-D)

8:00 Check out and get on the boat, cruise to My An. On the way, students can visit anotehr brick factory if interested.

9:00 Arrival in My An, visit a workshop of making pan coaster of bamboo. Students learn how to make bamboo pan coaster.

10:00 Walk along the handicraft village to another house where students will learn to weave bamboo baskets.

11:00 get back on the boat to go to Long Ho where students will learn to make conical hats.

12:00 cruise to Vinh Long, visit the interesting market of selling all kinds of animals and vegetables.

13:00 Have lunch at a local restaurant

14:00 Transfer to Can Tho

15:30 Check in Thanh Dat resort in an area of 7,000m2 with 200 species of flowers and plants.

Have some rest

Take a walk in the park to learn about plants and flowers.

Have dinner at the resort

Overnight in Can Tho

Day 6: CAN THO - SA DEC - HCMC (B-L-D)

7:00 Check out the hotel, transfer to Ninh Kieu pier to take a boat ride on Can Tho river to visit Cai Rang floating market which is the most crowded and interesting market in the mekong Delta.

Visit a rice noodle factory and get off at An Binh vegetable market.

10:00 Transfer to Sa Dec

11:30 visit bonsai garden and flower gardens.

12:30 Have lunch at a local house then visit the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le mentioned in the famous "the Lovers" by Marguerite Duras.

14:30 transfer back to HCMC.

17:30 Check in Dong Khanh hotel and rest

18:30 Dinner at a local restaurant

20:00 Enjoy some shopping at the Ben Thanh night market

22:00 Back to the hotel for rest

Day 7: HCMC - DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to the airport for flight back home

End of tours.
