VIETNAM GRAND PLEASANT ADVENTURE

Time duration: 24 days
Day 1: Home – Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi, the 1000-year-old capital city of Vietnam, met with the guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon: enjoy 1 hour rickshaw ride around the town center to be amazed by the unique hustle and bustle of the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi
Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi where old and new things blend together and Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together. Activities: a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, another pleasant walk at the beautiful Temple of Literature, a fascinating walk through the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter, and a good visit at the interesting Ethnology museum. Talks about the traffic and road-rules in Vietnam, some tips for driving a motorbike in Vietnam, practice driving. The day is ended with an interesting water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Motorbike Cruise to Than Uyen (350km)
Morning check out the hotel, load your luggage onto a support van and start the adventure. Follow highway 32 (mostly in the countryside), passing by Son tay, Tam Thanh, Ba Khe, Nghia Lo and arrive in Than Uyen. Overcome some heavy parts of the road (rough road conditions, high passes), have lunch on the way, enjoy the peaceful countryside, and meet with local people during stops. Overnight at a guesthouse in Than Uyen.
Day 4: Than Uyen – Motorbike Cruise to Sa Pa (170km)
Morning check out the hotel, load your luggage onto a support van and start the adventure. Follow highway 32 and 4D (mostly in the countryside). Be prepare to overcome some very heavy parts of the road (bad road conditions, high and long passes), have lunch on the way, enjoy the breath-taking landscapes with many photo stops. Climb onto the Silver Waterfall on the way. This waterfall is a symbol of Sapa. Have some rest in Sapa, enjoy the pleasant climate, beautiful sceneries, and local spirits. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa – Trekking to Giang Ta Chai village
Morning check – out the hotel with small back-bags and enjoy full day trekking through Lao Chai village of Black H’momg group, Ta Van village of the Day people, and cover the heavy slop to Giang Ta chai village of the black H’mong group. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes, interesting cultures of the hill tribes.Have picknic lunch on the way, swim in the river, and overnight at very simple but clean and cozy home stays of the Black H’mong.
Day 6: Giang Ta Chai – Trekking to Thanh Phu village
After breakfast, enjoy a longer and heavier trekking day to Thanh Phu village of the Tay people. Be impressed by the ways the local people live and their hospitality. Overnight in Thanh Phu.
Day 7: Thanh Phu village – Back to Sapa
After breakfast, trek to Thanh Phu village, challenge yourself by taking a steep short - cut to the main road. Continue trekking to the lunch stop. After lunch, go back to Sapa with local motorbike taxis (another adventure!). Have rest in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 8: Sapa – Cruise back to Hanoi (360km)
Morning check out the hotel, load your luggage onto a support van and start a long beautiful ride back to Hanoi. Take highway 4D, passing by Lao Cai, Pho Rang, Yen Bai, and then take the new road along the Red River and enjoy pleasant green fields of rice, maize, and sugar canes, and villages and daily life.Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise and Kayaking
After those days of sweaty rides and treks, you will enjoy the coming wonderful cruise in Halong Bay. Morning check out the hotel, transfer by coach to Halong Bay, check-in aboard and enjoy the scenic cruise through thousands of islands. You now can relax on the sun deck, admire the sceneries, swim and kayak in the sea, and enjoy delicious seafood meals. If lucky, you will admire a beautiful sunset as well. Overnight aboard.
Day 10: Halong Bay Cruise and Kayaking – Hue
You are waken up in the morning either by the early sun lights or sounds of the cruisers. Enjoy breakfast, sightseeing, cruising, kayaking, or swimming. After lunch, we will go directly to the Noi Bai airport by coach and take a flight to Hue, the Royal city, a World Heritage site in the Middle of Vietnam. Dinner and overnight in Hue.
Day 11: Hue
Full day enjoy Hue’s typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful. Activities: lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang tomb, 1 hour cooking lesson aboard to learn about the impressions of the artistic style of Hue cuisine. You will eat what you cook! Afternoon enjoy wonderful biking through the countryside of Hue through villages, rice fields, etc. (about 25km). Overnight in Hue.
Day 12: Hue – Hoian
Morning check-out the hotel after breakfast, then drive to the Royal Citadel of Hue, enjoy a pleasant walk in this interesting area, and visit the amazingly full Dong Ba market. Later, transfer to Hoian by coach, have lunch on the way, enjoy many photos stops. Visit the Cham Arts Museum and climb onto the Marble Mountains in Da Nang. Arrival in Hoian, a lovely ancient town, a World Heritage site. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 13: Hoian
Full day enjoy the wonderful features of Hoian: relaxing, charming, and great shopping. Activities: pleasant city walk to a museum, a Chinese temple, an old Chinese merchant’s house, the famous Japanese pagoda bridge, and many beautiful shops. Afternoon enjoy a uniquely fabulous bicycle ride through the gorgeous sceneries of the countryside (about 25km).Overnight in Hoian.
Day 14: Danang – Nha Trang (Cam Ranh)
Morning flight to Cam Ranh, then a scenic drive along the coast to Nha Trang. After check-in, enjoy lunch and a beautiful bicycle ride around the countryside (about 25km long). Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 15: Nha Trang
Full day enjoy a wonderful boat trip on one of the most beautiful bays of the world, enjoys swimming, snorkeling, and diving. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 16: Nha Trang – HCMC
Morning check-out, full day sit back, relax and enjoy beautiful scenic bus ride to HCMC. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 17: HCMC
Full day enjoy the city highlights: visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, a very well-known battlefield in the Vietnam War. Over here, the guests will watch a video document about the history of the tunnels and explore some parts of the remained tunnels. Then the guests will leave the Cu Chi Tunnels and drive back to HCMC. After lunch, the guests will be guided to visit the interesting Binh Tay market and the Thien Hau temple. After that, the guests will be guided to the city center where they will visit the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dam Cathedral, the central Post office, the City Hall, and the Opera house (some colonial buildings). From here, the guests will enjoy a wonderful rickshaw ride in the hustle and bustle of the city. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 18: HCMC – Biking to My Tho by bike (75km)
Morning check out, upload your luggage onto a support van and start another adventure to the fascinating Mekong Delta by bike. Today you will cycle about 75 km on country roads, through green fields and gardens, crossing many rivers and canals on small ferry boats. Have picnic lunch on the way and meet with local people during stops. Overnight in My Tho.
Day 19: My Tho – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Bikings to Long Xuyen (50km by bike)
Morning check-out, upload your luggage and your bikes on support bus and transfer to Cai Be town by Highway 1. From here, you will enjoy a wonderful boat trip on the Mekong River, crossing many small rivers and canals, seeing a floating market, fruit gardens, local houses and work shops. The boat wills top in Vinh Long town where you will have lunch. From Vinh long, you will paddle to Long Xuyen town by bike. Overnight in Long Xuyen.
Day 20: Long Xuyen – Bikings to rach Gia (80km by bike)
Morning check-out, upload your luggage onto the bus and paddle to Rach Gia by bike. Upon arrival, check-in hotel and relax. From here, you can forget all about sweaty rides again, upload your bikes onto the bus which will take the bikes abck to HCMC. Overnight in Rach Gia.
Day 21: Rach Gia – Phu Quoc Island by boat.
Early check out in the morning to catch the express boat from Rach Gia to Phu Quoc Island (around 3 hours), upon arrival transfer to the hotel by coach, check-in a beach resort and relax. Be delighted by the wonderful island with tranquil beaches, transparent water, beautiful forests and plantations, and delicious seafood. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 22: Phu Quoc Island
Full day relaxation on the beache, or take some options of swimming, snorkeling, diving around the island or trekking in the forests.Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Day 23: Phu Quoc – HCMC by plane
Free morning at the beach for relaxation. Check out and have lunch before going to the airport for flight back to HCMC. Upon arrival in HCMC, transfer to the hotel by coach and free time for shopping.Overnight in HCMC.
Day 24: HCMC – Departure for Home Sweet Home
Free time in HCMC till departure for Home Sweet Home.
