Exploring Vietnam Through Speaking Hands - 16 Days

Day 1: Home – Hanoi

Arrival in Hanoi, the ancient intricate capital of Vietnam, meet our representatives and transfer to a hotel for check-in. Rest till dinner. Dinner at Koto restaurant (sort of vocational school restaurant for disadvantaged young people), then admire Hanoi by night by bus.

Day 2:  Hanoi – Halong

After breakfast, check out the hotel, then take Hanoi city tour covering Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & residence, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam). Then visit a school for deaf children in Hanoi. After lunch at the Ngon restaurant with many local specialties, proceed to Halong town. Halong Bay was awarded by UNESCO as a world natural heritage site in 1994. This four-hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Check in a hotel and rest till dinner. A sumptuous dinner awaits you at local restaurant.

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi

After breakfast, check out the hotel and enjoy half day boat trip in Halong Bay to view multi-shaped rocks and visit a dramatic Sung Sot cave. Lunch will be served on boat with the fresh seafood. Return to Hanoi, enjoy the unique Water Puppet Show. Then check in a hotel and rest till dinner. Enjoy dinner at Hoa Sua restaurant (sort of vocational school restaurant for disadvantaged young people).

Day 4: Hanoi - Hue

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport to take morning flight to Hue, the last Royal capital of Vietnam, a World Cultural Heritage Site. Transfer to check in a hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit the Royal Citadel of Hue, enjoy a pleasant walk in this interesting area, then visit the amazingly full Dong Ba market.

Day 5: Hue

Full day enjoy Hue’s typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful.

Activities: lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda, Tu duc tomb, Khai Dinh tomb. Afternoon: excellent motorbike trip with drivers to interesting traditional villages and beautiful sceneries around Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Hoian

Morning enjoy scenic drive to Hoi An via Danang, stop at the fine arts Cham museum and Marble Mountains in Danang. Arrival in Hoian, a very charming ancient town, another World Heritage site in Vietnam.

Day 7: Hoian

Morning enjoy a lively boat trip on Thu Bon River, a relaxing city walk to more than 200 years-old temples and houses. Afternoon free time for shopping or swimming in the South Vietnam Sea.

Day 8: Hoian – MySon Holy Place

Full day excursion to My Son Holy Land, the former Religious capital of the Cham people, a world cultural heritage site, enjoy the scenic landscapes and mysterious Cham arts and architecture. Transfer back to Hoian for lunch and free time for relaxation and shopping.

Day 9: Hoian – Danang – Nha Trang (Cam Ranh)

Morning check-out the hotel, transfer to Danang airport, take a flight to Cam Ranh, then a scenic drive along the coast to the harbour in Nha Trang, board on boat for half day cruise on one of the most beautiful bays of the world, enjoys swimming, beach massage (excluded), and beautiful fresh seafood lunch.

Day 10: Nha Trang – Mui Ne (Phan Thiet)

Morning check-out the hotel, enjoy a healthy and pleasant mud bath (included) at the Ponagar hot spring in Nha Trang and a fabulous seafood lunch at Ngoc Suong restaurant in Cam Ranh. Then transfer to Mui Ne, a marvelous area of seaside resorts, palm plantations and sand dunes. Check in a hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 11: Mui Ne

Admire early sunrise on the sand dunes or walk along the Suoi Tien creek with beautiful landscapes. Time at leisure for swimming and relaxing at the resort.

Day 12: Mui Ne – HCMC

Morning relaxing at the resort. Check out the hotel and have lunch before transfer back to HCMC, check in a hotel. Dinner at Ai Han restaurant run by the deaf people.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, enjoy city tour with visits to Cho Lon Market, Thien Hau temple, the War Remnants Museum, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office, the opera House and The People’s Committee House (outside only).

Visit a school for Vietnamese deaf children. Visit the famous 27-7 lacquer ware work shop and handicraft center run by the disable. Enjoy some coffee at the Silence Café run by some deaf people.

Transfer back to the hotel for resting till dinner. Dinner will be served on Saigon River Cruise along the Saigon River at the end of the day.

Day 14: HCMC– Cu Chi

Morning excursion to visit the impressive Cu Chi tunnels system of the most violent battlefields in the Vietnam War. Transfer back to HCMC for lunch. Then enjoy 1 hour’s body massage given by the Blind people at Nguyen Dinh Chieu school (Included) before going shopping at the Ben Thanh Market.

Enjoy dinner at a vocational school restaurant run by street children.

Day 15: HCMC – My Tho – HCMC

Morning transfer to My Tho city located on the Mekong riverside, visit the colourful Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a wonderful boat ride on the Upper Branch of the Mekong River, visiting local houses and workshops of making coconut candies, fruit gardens, boating through small canals. Have a lovely lunch with the Vietnamese Southern style in a garden. Drive back to HCMC and dinner at a local restaurant run by the deaf or street children.

Day 16: HCMC – Departure

You will be guided for shopping at the Ben Thanh market.

After lunch, transfer to the airport for departure.

End of service.
